There are many ways of using the Welsh language in information technology.
The Commissioner has issued a dedicated Advice Note which explains how to provide high quality bilingual software and services via IT.

Microsoft’s Welsh language interfaces can be downloaded free of charge below:

Welsh Language Interface: Other

  • Firefox
  • Welsh Gmail: a link to instructions on how to set a Welsh language interface is available on the right
  • Hotmail: the interface language can be changed by updating Hotmail to Outlook.com, clicking the language name at the bottom of the inbox page and changing it to Welsh
